Cliff Dadson is 94 years old and just went skydiving for the first time in his life. He did it for charity (and for the amazing experience of jumping out of a plane at 13,500 feet.
What else has Dadson accomplished in his lifetime? Well, he served in the Royal Air Force during World War II. Then, after the war, he traveled the world as an electrical engineer, because he was valued greatly worldwide for his knowledge in the field.
After turning 93 years old, Cliff Dadson also graduated with a BA Open Degree in Arts, which made him the oldest college graduate in Britain! Of this experience, he said, “I spoke to many graduates from many different nations and backgrounds, all of whom were so much younger than I, but it made me feel young at heart.” Wonderful.
But that’s not all! The 94-year-old has been an avid supporter of the Action for Children charity for over 30 years. The UK charity has helped over 300,000 kids, parents and caretakers in cases of child abuse and neglect. Cliff Dadson loves the charity’s message and decided to jump out of a plane for them. At 94 years old, he decided to skydive to raise money for the charity. I can’t think of anything more selfless and boss than that!
