Do you know the feeling of adrenaline rushing through your veins, when you’ve just done something so awesome it exhilarated you beyond belief? Well, the people who took the extreme photographs you’re about to see have definitely experienced this shock of adrenaline coursing through their entire bodies, when they snapped these stunning POV shots to give you a glimpse into their crazy lives.

The Lion
Have you ever wanted to play with a lion and pet it? Probably not, but it’d be cool to imagine and thanks to this awe-inspiring POV shot from South African zoologist Kevin Richardson you can! He loves playing with wild cats so much that people call him the “Lion Whisperer”!

Water Ramping
For those unaware, water ramping is how a lot of high-level ski jumpers practice their aerial acrobatics, particularly for freestyle events. They hit the ramp like they would when skiing, but end up landing in an oversized pool or a lake as a safety measure. (You don’t want to land on snow or ice with your head.)

In the above first person point of view photograph taken by American freestyle skiier Dylan Ferguson, you can see what the view is like while performing a sweet water jump. He really catapulted himself up high off of that ramp at the Olympic Park in Utah. Wow!

View Over China
Jordan Miller is somewhat of a GoPro guru and this POV picture is a great example why. While preparing for pro BASE jumper Jeb Corliss’ wingsuit shoot last year, he snapped this amazing picture of his view over China.

On Top Of The World
This boss Brody Leven is an adventurer, who documents his travels with pictures and blog posts. One of his favorite things to do is climb up mountains in order to reach the best ski slopes. This magnificent POV snapshot really gives you the sensation that you’re on top of the world yourself. It’s just not as cold sitting in your chair!

Andy Mac Dropping In
A first person view courtesy of pro skater Andy Macdonald (a.k.a. Andy Mac) about to drop in like a boss at the X-Games!

Kelly Slater Surfing
Kelly Slater is the greatest surfer of all time. He’s been crowned the ASP World Tour Champion 11 times, which is a record. Five of the titles were consecutive and he was the youngest to win it at age 20. He is also the oldest surfer to have won it at age 39!

In the POV shot from above, you get a quick glimpse into what it’s like to be a pro surfer. It’s from Kelly Slater at the 2012 Hurley Pro at Trestles (San Clemente, California). The ultimate surf boss himself shows you how it’s done!

Flying A Fighter Jet
This is what it looks like in the cockpit of an F-15 Eagle. It’s like Top Gun in real life! Part of the 67th Fighter Squadron, this pilot is part of the “Fighting Cocks” and his job comes with a free adrenaline rush!

Don’t Let Go
This dude is lucky it’s not Rose from ‘Titanic’ holding his hand. “I’ll never let go” my ass! James Kingston is a 23yo daredevil from Southampton, England. Here he is hanging off of the Moscow Bridge in Kiev, Ukraine. Either he wants to die or he’s just looking for the ultimate adrenaline rush and really trusts the guy holding him as he dangles. Hopefully it’s the latter.

As you can tell by the picture above as well as the picture below from James Kingston, this free runner is fearless. The POV shot below shows him casually hanging his legs over the edge during a crane climb in Southampton. What a crazy chap!

Some More Cool POV Shots
The first one is Tomasz Chrapek effortlessly paragliding above Hafrafell Mountain near Reykjavík (the capital and largest city of Iceland). Beautiful!

We’re not so sure where the rest of these POV shots came from, but they’re very much worth sharing nonetheless. The one with the tangled parachute cords is scary to say the least, but the nameless skydiver managed to cut himself free and deploy his reserve to escape this nightmare situation. Enjoy the pics like a boss!

Who is crazy enough to grate cheese while skydiving? This guy!
