The San Francisco Giants has hired Alyssa Nakken as assistant on the coach team, making her the first female coach in Major League Baseball history.
The San Francisco Giants are making history and setting an awesome example in the world of sports. They hired the former softball star Alyssa Nakken as a full time coach, making her the first ever female coach in the league. Alyssa was both a familiar and highly qualified attribution to the team, since she had previously worked as an intern for the Giants.
Talking about being a boss. This is so awesome.
This new coach started her career at college, playing first base for the Sacramento State Hornets. During that time, she was: a three-time all-conference selection, four-time Academic All American and four-time Commissioner’s Honor Roll member. And in addition to all this, at the end of college she was titled: conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She startet her Giants journey in 2014, as an Intern, and was quickly promoted to work with the team’s many sports events.
We are happy for the The San Francisco Giants, their good choice and are excited for Alyssa Nakken and her future career. Congratulations to both.
